Buying Guide: Cushion Covers and Pads
A guide for purchasing cushions? Isn't that a little... well, OTT? We think not!
Understanding the size of a cushion isn't always straight forward, especially when shopping online as our lovely cushions aren't there for you to pick up and touch! In the interests of furn(ish)ing your home to perfection, we have put together this handy guide, so you may never be disappointed by the size of your cushion again!
Choosing a cushion cover size
When choosing a size, remember that our cushion dimensions always refer to the width and length of the cover lying flat and unstuffed. Once your cushion is filled, you may find it's a touch smaller - that's just cushion physics!
Choosing a cushion pad
Looking to reuse your old cushion pads? Make sure the cover you buy is slightly smaller than the pad. This ensures your cushion will be lovely and plump, with no baggy edges. If you opt to purchase a brand new cushion pad separately, make sure it's a size up from your cover.

How to fill your cushion like a pro
Our warehouse staff are wizards at stuffing cushions! Ask any of them, and they will tell you the best way to do this is:
- Fold your pad in half
- Stuff it inside your cover, making sure one side reaches a far corner
- Let the pad unfold into the opposite corner
- Tuck the remaining corners into the cover
- (Our favourite bit) Grab the corners and fluff it up!
- Zip it up, and display with pride
